The identities of Prospect Hill Properties and Prospect Hill Property Management are strongly tied to Grand Rapids history.  "Prospect Hill" once stood 70 feet high between Monroe and Ottawa Avenues and Northward beyond Lyon Street in downtown Grand Rapids.  In the late 1800's, Prospect Hill proved quite literally to be a great contributor to the growth of Grand Rapids when the earth that formed Prospect Hill was excavated and used to expand and fortify the east bank of the Grand River.
